As part of activities marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Krowor Municipal Assembly hosted a joint training session for the Complementary Education Agency (CEA) staff from Ledzokuku and La Dade Kotopon (LADMA) on October 2nd, 2025. The session featured a representative from Baby Kaafo, an Accra-based NGO dedicated to women’s health and empowerment.
Participants were educated on breast cancer prevention, early detection, and support for affected persons. The training emphasized the importance of regular breast self-examinations, understanding individual risk factors, and building strong emotional support systems for patients and survivors.
The Assembly remains committed to deepening community education and collaboration with partner districts to raise awareness and promote early detection of breast cancer. Together, we can save lives through knowledge and action
