The Krowor Municipal Assembly was carved out of Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly in 2017 with its capital located at Nungua.
The Hon. Joshua Bortey is the first Municipal Chief Executive of the Krowor Municipal Assembly and was appointed and sworn into his position in 2018 and holds the position till date.
The Krowor Municipal Assembly is a Ga community and is a predominantly Ga populated municipality.
His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cut sod for the dualization of the Nungua – Teshie road in September 2020 to ease traffic and improve commute on the road.
Our commitment to resolve all communal issues is the main drive to holding our town hall meetings with all residents of the Municipalities.
MIS Unit:
The Unit exits to provide IT solutions to effectively and efficiently manage IT infrastructure and services within the Assembly. Its mandate is to provide quick and effective services delivery to the general public and officers by the way of information sharing and data storage.
The core mandate of MIS Unit is to:-
- Review computer programming manuals and updates existing software packages to enhance information flow among computer operation
- Collects and collates data for design, development and implementation.
- Conducts research on all IT/IM issues to support the design and Administration of IT/IM projects.
- Monitors the functioning of computer and writes report with appropriate recommendations on their Statuses.
