The Krowor South Zonal Council is one of the two (2) Zonal Councils of Krowor Municipal Assembly (KroMA).

Krowor Municipal  shares its boundaries with Ledzekuku Municipal Assembly, Tema West Municipal Assembly and Tema Metropolitan Assembly. It covers an area of 50 sqkm.

The Krowor South Zonal Council has an estimated population of 71,506 with 30,751 houses and 49,401 households according to the 2020 housing Census.

The boundary from the current office location is the Accra Tema Road and it starts from Sakumono Traffic Light and ends  the beach. The Krowor South has contributed immensely to the economic development of Accra. The dominant economic activity within the Krowor South Zonal is fishing and fish mongering activities due to the fact that the majority of its communities are found along the coastline. It also hosts some business entities like supermarkets, banks, fuel stations, educational institutions and hotels.

the only market in the Krowor District is located at the Krowor South Zonal Council.

The Krowor South Zonal Council has Six Electoral Areas as follows;
