The Krowor Municipal Assembly (KroMA) on Monday, September 22, 2025, held a Peer Counsellors Training on HIV/AIDS prevention, advocacy, and counselling at the GNAT Hall, Addo-Gonno.
The full-day training brought together energetic young leaders (18–25 years), equipping them with practical knowledge and skills to become peer educators, counsellors, and advocates in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
With resource persons from the Ghana AIDS Commission, Ghana HIV/l and AIDS Network (GHANET), the Municipal Health Directorate, and KroMA management, participants were inspired to champion awareness, encourage early testing, and foster stigma-free support within our communities.
This bold step reaffirms KroMA’s commitment to youth-led public health advocacy and a healthier, stronger Krowor Municipality.
