As part of Nungua Kplejoo Festival 2024, Hon. Joshua Nii Bortey MCE for Krowor assisted in the facelift of the Nungua Landing Beach after which he welcomed the Greater Accra Regional Minister; Hon Daniel Nii Kwatei Titus Glover to witness the purification of the sea (Nungua Nnshorbulemor) at the Nungua Landing Beach.
The entire leadership of the Nungua Traditional Council comprising Oboade Notse King Prof. Odaifio Welentsi 111, Nungua Mantse and Wor- Konor Nuumo Borketey Larweh Tsuru XXX Gborbu Wolomo, Shitse led the planting of coconut seedlings at the beach to mark the historic day.
In a keynote address, the Hon Regional Minister admonished all and sundry to keep our environment clean and stop the illegal dumping of waste into our drains and our water bodies., He however wished the Chiefs and People of the Nungua Traditional Area Afiooo Afi and commended them for the keeping the peace in the Traditional Area.
