Hon Joshua Nii Bortey, MCE for Krowor on May 16, 2024 paid a working visit with his team of Engineers from the Krowor Municipal Assembly to the 9.8 Kilometers Nungua Okpoi Gonno/ Market Street Dual Carriage Highway Road construction site.
The Contractor M/S IIsaan Ghana Limited, has primer sealed 2.8 km on the Cashew Street link, Planners Avenue Central Highway, Market link road and work on the 4m X 2m culvert is 98% complete.
The roads together form a contiguous minor arterial road that interlinks (A12) and the Spintex Road (A9). The cardinal goal is to provide alternatives for road transit between Ledzokuku, Krowor and the Tema West and Adenta Municipalities.
In a short address, the Hon Joshua Nii Bortey revealed that the rehabilitation when completed would not only ease traffic congestion on the Accra- Tema Motorway, Spintex Road and the Accra-Tema Beach Drive but to also enhance the quality of life for the citizens along the stretch.
