Child Health Promotion Week is celebrated annually in Ghana. This is celebrated during the 2nd week of May. Marking the Child Health Week celebration, for 2023, under the theme ‘The Big Catch-Up: Reaching the Unreachable with Child Health Interventions’, the Krowor Municipal Health Directorate organized activities to the benefit of residents within the Krowor Municipality.
The activities included, weighting, immunization, vitamin A supplementation, malnutrition assessments, health talk, birth registration and personal and environmental hygiene.
They also caried out food demonstrations at Christian Medical Center.
