MCE’S PROJECT INSPECTIONS FOR JANUARY, 2023

HON. JOSHUA NII BORTEY JOINS HON. AMOAKO ATTA TO INSPECT THE CONSTRUCTION OF NUNGUA INTERCHANGE

On Thursday 12th January, 2022 the Municipal Chief Executive for Krowor, Hon Joshua Nii Bortey was joined by the Roads and Highways Minister, Hon. Amoako Atta to inspect the construction of the 3 tier interchange and dual carriageway at Nungua Barrier. Work done by the contractors were at 80% complete. Constructions were progressing steadily to meet deadlines.

HON. JOSHUA NII BORTEY (MCE) COMMISSIONS NEWLY BUILT AND RENOVATED TOILET FACILITIES IN SCHOOLS, NUNGUA

The Municipal Chief Executive of Krowor, Hon. Joshua Nii Bortey commissioned and handed over newly built and renovated toilet facilities to some selected schools in the municipality on Wednesday 25th January, 2023. He was accompanied by officials from the Krowor Municipal Assembly. The toilet facilities were constructed by the UNICEF through the WASH program. The schools to benefit from this program are St. Peters Senior High School, Nungua Methodist 1 and 2 Primary and Junior High Schools. The Nungua Zongo CHPS Compound also had a 6 seater toilet facility constructed for them. The toilet facilities have changing rooms, toilets, urinals, and disability friendly washrooms.
