The Management of Krowor Municipal Assembly paid a courtesy call on the Nungua Traditional Council on Monday 18th October 2021.
The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Joshua Nii Bortey to the Traditional Leadership.
In his opening remarks the Municipal Chief Executive expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for the massive support he enjoyed during his first tenure. He promised to do more to improve on the lives of the residents in the Municipality.
The Traditional leadership also commended the Assembly for making significant strides since inception. He entreated management to support the Municipal Chief Executive to harness resources to expand infrastructure and speed up socio-economic development in the various electoral areas in the Municipality.
King ( Prof ) Odaifio Welentsi III, brought to the attention of the gathering that the Council is ready to work with the Assembly to improve its fortunes..
The King further assured stakeholders present at the colourful event that the His doors are open for deliberations that will lead to development in the Municipality
The Municipal Chief Executive then expressed special gratitude to the King and all stakeholders for the instrumental role they played in his confirmation.
