The Krowor Municipal Assembly was honoured to host the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection and Member of Parliament for Krowor Constituency, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, during the Krowor Community Dialogue on Social Protection held on Friday, 15th May 2026 at the Traditional Authority premises.
The programme provided an insightful and impactful platform for community engagement and education on key social issues including NHIS, LEAP, teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, illegal migration, gender-based violence, child marriage, among others.
Participants greatly benefited from the valuable contributions of the various resource persons and stakeholders present. Residents also took advantage of the free NHIS registration and renewal exercise conducted on the sidelines of the dialogue.
The Assembly commends the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection for this timely and laudable initiative, and encourages all residents to embrace the knowledge shared and continue to promote responsible and positive practices within our communities for a safer and more progressive Krowor.
