As part of the Local Economic Development (LED) Programme, the Krowor Municipal Assembly organised a free skills training programme in detergent making on Wednesday, 21st May 2026 at the Life Worship Centre near Iron Bar.
The training brought together beneficiaries from the Blekese West Electoral Area, with the Assembly Member, Hon. Alhassan Mohamadu Cabilla, in attendance to support and encourage participants.
Facilitated by the Municipal Culture and Tourism Officer, the hands-on session equipped participants with practical knowledge in liquid soap and bleach production, covering ingredient selection, mixing processes, and packaging techniques. Participants actively took part in the production process and were able to make and take home their own products.
The initiative forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to empowering residents with employable and entrepreneurial skills aimed at promoting self-reliance and local economic growth.
