The Environment and Sanitation Subcommittee of the Krowor Municipal Assembly, chaired by Hon. James Kotey Nikoi, held a crucial meeting on Monday, 8th September 2025, to deliberate on key issues affecting environmental management and sanitation in the Municipality. The meeting formed part of the committee’s mandate to review ongoing interventions and propose measures that will strengthen the Assembly’s sanitation strategy.
Ahead of the meeting, the committee embarked on an inspection tour of all skip container sites across the Municipality. The exercise offered members the opportunity to assess the condition of the containers, identify challenges with waste collection, and engage stakeholders on practical solutions. Insights gathered during the visit are expected to guide the committee’s recommendations and shape targeted actions to improve sanitation across Krowor.
