EDUCATION ON NATIONAL VALUES AND RESPECT FOR NATIONAL SYMBOLS

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) officers took pupils of Prisdark Junior High School, Addo-gonno through the National Values and the need to respect National Symbols.  It is however, crucial to educate the society to uphold these values, such as our conducts, judgments, decisions and interactions with others. In view of this, students and other collective bodies were sensitized to avoid violence and live in harmony with others, respect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interest of others, and generally to refrain from doing acts detrimental to the welfare of other persons and protecting our national symbols at all times as enshrined in the 1992 Constitution, Article 41, Clause A to D. A total number of 78 were educated, made up of 25 boys and 53 girls.  The sensitization was held in July, 2023.
