The Municipal Technical Sub-Committee of the Krowor Municipal Assembly has responsibility for all physical settlements and land use development within the Krowor Municipality. The long-term objective is to promote sustainable, spatially integrated, balanced and orderly development of human settlements within the Municipality.

The Committee is made up of the Physical Planning Officer, Head of Works, Head of Roads, District Fire Officer, Head of District Health Directorate, Two Co-opted Members; at least one of whom is the Chairperson of Urban Council, Representative from any Utility Agency, Head of Disaster Prevention Department, One representative of the Regional Head of Environmental Protection Agency and One representative of the Lands Commission.

The Technical Sub-Committee embarks on monthly inspection within the Municipality after receiving recommendations from the Spatial Planning Committee. The site inspections ascertain the dimensions of the structural plans, local plans and rezoning plans among others.  After the inspection the Committee presents a report to the Spatial Planning Committee for implementation.
