171 NUNSEC STUDENTS BENEFIT FROM PRACTICAL SKILLS TRAINING AND RTI SENSITISATION

The Krowor Municipal Assembly, on Thursday, 22nd October 2026, organised a Practical Skills Training and Right to Information (RTI) Sensitisation Programme for students of Nungua Senior High School at the Kate Bannerman Hall.
The practical session engaged 171 students in the production of liquid soap and bleach, complementing their Chemistry studies while promoting vocational skills, hygiene awareness and entrepreneurship.
The RTI sensitisation educated students on Ghana’s Right to Information Act, 2019 (Act 989), highlighting the importance of access to credible information, transparency, accountability and responsible citizenship.
The Assembly expresses its appreciation to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for this laudable initiative, which promotes practical education and empowers young people with essential life skills and knowledge of their information rights
