The UNICEF Regional Director, accompanied by a delegation, paid a working visit to the Krowor Municipal Assembly on 29th April 2026 to engage beneficiaries of the Integrated Social Services (ISS) Programme and assess its impact on social service delivery.
The visit provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions on how the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development collaborates with key stakeholders to address child protection concerns within the municipality.
Beneficiaries of the programme shared inspiring success stories, expressing appreciation for the Department’s timely and responsive social interventions. They also conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the Regional Director and the entire UNICEF team for the visit, noting that such engagements reinforce their sense of inclusion and participation in national development
