On Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, the Krowor Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ing. Paul Afotey Quaye, participated in the 2025 Budget Hearing held at the Lush View Hotel, Ashaiman. The MCE was accompanied by key management staff, the Hon. Presiding Member, and Hon. Assembly Members.
The event, hosted by the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly, brought together sister Assemblies including Krowor Municipal Assembly, Tema West Municipal Assembly, and Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly. Each Assembly made presentations on their financial and non-financial performance for the current fiscal year, as well as their budget proposals, programmes, and projects planned for implementation in the coming year.
The Budget Hearing serves as a vital platform for MMDAs, the Regional Coordinating Council, and the Ministry of Finance to review performance, share best practices, and strengthen accountability in local governance.
The Krowor Municipal Assembly remains steadfast in its commitment to transparency, effective planning, and prudent resource management towards achieving sustainable development for the people of Krowor.
