Hon. Joshua Nii Bortey, MCE for Krowor and the Municipal Environmental and Sanitation Officer, Mr. Abdul Wahab of the Krowor Municipal Assembly (KroMA) with the assistance of the Nungua Police Patrol Team kept wake from 9pm on July 22, 2024 till 4am the next morning and arrested dozens of people who came dumping refuse into the Blekese Lagoon.
The MCE entreated all to keep their surroundings clean and to stop destroying the environment. He further encouraged residents to keep the water bodies clean to maintain a healthy and safe environment fit for human habitation
