KroMAfest is a culture festival organised for the 17 public basic schools in Krowor Municipality by Centre for National Culture KroMA office and in collaboration with the Municipal Education Directorate to inculcate our Culture and Heritage into the younger generation and to ensure they are not lost in the tide of modernity.
It is celebrated yearly
This year, 2024, the schools were zones in three circuits,
Which are Krowor South, Krowor North, and Krowor Central
The three circuits presented dance drama, poetry recital, and dance.
The drama brings to life stories that have been told and retold, each rendition preserving and enriching our culture narratives.
The dance showcases the rhythms that have pulsed through ourl and for centuries, reminding us of the joy and vitality inherent in our tradition.
The poetry echoes the wisdom and emotions of our ancestors, capturing the essence of our shared experiences and aspirations.
At the end of the competition among the three circuits schools, Krowor South emerged as the winners of KroMAfest 2024 with 294 points. Followed by both Krowor North and Central emerging second and third positions.
