KROMAFEST 2026 was a true celebration of culture, creativity, and unity in the Krowor Municipality.
Held on Friday, 22nd May 2026 at KroMA “5” Basic School in Nungua, the festival brought together seventeen public basic schools across the Municipality under the theme: “Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Ghanaian Identity through Culture.”
Organised by the Krowor Municipal Assembly’s Centre for National Culture in collaboration with the Krowor Municipal Education Directorate, the event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Ghana through traditional dance, drama, poetry, storytelling, choral music, cook arts, exhibitions, drumming, and various creative performances by our talented pupils.
The colourful display of tradition, discipline, teamwork, and patriotism reflected the immense potential and creativity of the children within our Municipality. The festival also served as an important platform to promote unity, cultural appreciation, and national identity among the younger generation.
At the end of the keenly contested competition, KroMA North Circuit emerged overall winners with 747 points, followed by KroMA Central Circuit with 670 points, while KroMA South Circuit placed third with 594 points.
The Krowor Municipal Assembly congratulates all participating schools, teachers, parents, organisers, and pupils for making KroMAfest 2026 a memorable success. Together, we continue to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Ghana for future generations.
