Hon. Quaye was accompanied by the Hon. Presiding Member of the Assembly, the Assembly Member for Okpoi Gonno, the Municipal Coordinating Director, and heads of departments. The interaction was highly insightful and reflected a shared commitment to building a more resilient and responsive Municipality.
The Association raised vital concerns regarding security, the condition of roads and drains, and sanitation—critical issues that remain top priorities across our communities. In response, Hon. Quaye reaffirmed the Assembly’s readiness to work hand-in-hand with resident associations to address these challenges.
He also emphasized the importance of strong partnerships in areas such as compliance with property rate payments, acquisition of building permits, regulation of signage, and other revenue-related initiatives that are key to the Assembly’s effective operation.
Above all, Hon. Paul Afotey Quaye assured residents of the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to bringing services closer to the people and promoting inclusive local governance.
A heartfelt thank you to the Glowlamp Landlords and Residents Association for the warm reception and fruitful discussions.
