The Municipal Chief Executive, *Hon. Paul Afotey*, had the honour of welcoming the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Agency Council (REAC) to the Assembly.
The visit aimed to officially introduce the Council to the Assembly and kickstart discussions on mutual areas of collaboration – particularly in support of H.E. the President’s *RESET Agenda* in the real estate development space.
REAC plays a critical role in strengthening Ghana’s real estate sector by:
✅ Registering and licensing professionals and entities
✅ Enforcing the Real Estate Agency Act
✅ Regulating industry practices to ensure credibility and compliance
During the engagement, the Municipal Chief Executive, *Hon. Paul Afotey*, highlighted key areas for collaboration, including:
📌 Joint sensitization on property rate compliance
📌 Alignment of real estate activities with KroMA’s Land Use and Spatial Planning framework
📌 Strengthening development control mechanisms for a sustainable and organized cityscape
