The Social Welfare and Community Development Department works in partnership with individuals, families, groups and communities to improve their social wellbeing through active participation in promoting development with equity. The Department offer services to the vulnerable.
The Social Welfare and Community Development Department in the Krowor Municipal Assembly covers the areas within Nungua and its environs.
The department organized a livelihood skill training programme on the preparation of liquid soap, Parazone and After wash. A total of Seventy-eight (78) PWDs were trained on PARAZONE preparation.
