In a strong show of community partnership, the Krowor Municipal Assembly collaborated with students and staff from Ethical Leaders Lyceum School for a clean-up exercise at the Nungua Lorry Station and its surroundings on Wednesday, 23rd July 2025.
Armed with brooms and a shared commitment to cleanliness, participants undertook the exercise to help restore sanitation in the area and promote civic responsibility among young people. During the activity, the team also engaged traders and pedestrians through short educational interactions on proper waste disposal and the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
The Assembly extends its appreciation to the Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit for their unwavering dedication and applauds the students and staff of Ethical Leaders Lyceum for their commendable volunteerism. Their enthusiastic participation highlights the vital role of youth in building a cleaner, healthier Municipality.
The Assembly encourages other schools, youth groups, and community-based organizations within Krowor to take inspiration from this initiative. True transformation begins with small, consistent actions. Together, we can nurture a culture of cleanliness throughout the Municipality.
